simple way to fix error 3194 in iTunes when you restore or update iPhone

the iphone "iphone" could not be restored unknown error (3194) occurred

Solution

if you get this error in your iTunes, DO this and try again

1) Check your iTunes version. make sure you are using latest versions of iTunes

2) Disable firewall or Anti virus security software for at-least 10 min

hope now you will get the things done. if not do one more step

3) check the system "host" file
    i) Open host file in C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc with administrator privilege

ii) Find any entries like "gs.apple.com" (example 38.25.63.10 gs.apple.com) and remove the line / comment the line by adding # in front of the line

    iii) Restart the system.

In most cases you will get resolved by doing first two steps.

Factor to consider : Choosing a best paying file hosting and sharing site

Once I decided to upload e-books and materials, I have gone through free file uploading and files haring site. Here I have listed few important factor for choosing a best paying file hosting site by choice.

• Storage limit (5GB to unlimited)
• Maximum size for single file ( 20 MB to 2GB)
• Number of day files kept in their repository ( mostly based on the active. If your files download frequently it stay longer else they will delete).
• Payout ratio ($ for 1000 downloads )
• Payment mode ( PayPal is good if you are in India)
• Minimum  payout ( some sites has 5$ which is really good)
• Upload speed and statistical report with clear user interface
• Online support / forum
• Login process ( most of the site activate immediately. Few will take 6 hours of time)

Pros:

• Totally free to use / store and share
• Simple registration process

Cons:

• If you are going to share via blogger/ site. You may lose ur visitor.
• Irritating popup
• Link doesn't has survey page to fill

My Experience : How to Earn money with online file sharing site

I was decided to upload my collection of e-books (database, data analytics and Big Data related books) to my blog visitors. My friend suggested me to upload via file sharing site and earn money based on the number of downloads and location.

I was searching for good one to upload and thrilled by huge option in front of me. every one suggesting different top 5 file sharing site with their analysis. Finally I decided to go by trail before make it live in my blog.

Below is the list of file sharing site i tried.

sharcash
dollarupload
bucksroad

uploadcash
filebuks
sharefilecash
purefit
cleanfiles
crocko

( Apart from GUI, Options ) I found common in all sites was, They locked download option and says " before download a file have to complete the survey". Once you have completed survey download button will unlock automatically!!!!????. which is most tiresome part.

Things you should know earn money with online file sharing site

• Click to complete survey button, you will get a pop up window, will say choose any survey to complete.
• Most of the site not even unlock the download even after complete the survey. ( which i personally  did in all the site)
• Some of the site survey links is not open for my country (India) and it redirecting to another site. which doesn't have any survey page at all.
• As a techie, tried to disable JavaScript so i can avoid pop up. yes i did but wouldn't download. i.e avoided pop up window but still download button locked.

conclusion.

Myself, irritated by many clicks and doing lot many things for downloading single file.  As I don't want my visitor waste time by getting nothing.  so I'm looking better way to share. Meantime I learned Important factor to consider before choosing a best file sharing site for earning money
